I really hope your converter is fine. Getting a replacement converter installed (refurbished, not new) can easyily set you back 1000 to 1300 euros.

I've been looking for which wheels to get for the car. I don't like the ones that are on the car (style 122, I think). I still want to stick with BMW OEM. I really like the spiders (172) but they can be a little expensive. I'll have to keep an eye on Marktplaats to see if any comes up for sale.

Jup, I also have a couple of rimms offered there. Marktplaats and Ebay (germany) are also 2 options. Good luck.

Got the car today. Love it! So quiet and smooth and a joy to drive.
I don't appear to be having any torque convertor issues

however the running temperature is a little low (65-75) so I think I need to replace the EGR thermostat.
I had 2 fault codes, but I don't know the date so I need to check if they have came back. One for an electric fan (in the engine) and one for the 4th glow plug.
Other than that, the car is great. I just need to figure out how to hook up my iPhone to play music. Right now I have the bluetooth kit, but no iPod. I think I have 4 options:
- AUX cable, cheap and cheerful - but worse quality and I can't easily charge the phone (well, I can - but it isn't tidy)
- OEM iPod integration, though I'm not sure this will be 100% perfect with iPhone 6. Also it is pricey.
- Dension 500. Allows me play music and videos with the AVR. I'd like videos.
- Full CIC retrofit. The price is pretty steep but it would be a nice upgrade. I'm unsure where to get this done though (any suggestions?) and if I can place video without the combox upgrade?

You can also consider GROM audio module in stead of Dension. I think it's a bit cheaper and has better phone support (at least for Android, because that is non-existing on the Dension).

Aha, I've never seen that module before. It looks pretty good, and as you say, cheaper.

GROM has support for FLAC files! Which is a very strong point for me.
FLAC is a lossless audio codec btw.
You probably won't hear the difference between 320 Kbps Mp3 and FLAC in your car, but still, it means that the module at least has enough cpu power to be able to decode the FLAC files.

I think Dension is still top of the list, because I have the option of using the AVR to display videos with it - and the reverse camera works with it as well.
I got a new glow plug, both the main thermostat and EGR thermostat and a new cabin filter today. Hopefully clear up any faults.
However, I found 3 new issues today..
1. The roof (of course!). It works fine, but if you put it back fully, it doesn't close. Well it does after a few attempts, but it stalls a lot.
2. The adaptive head lights do not work. The light flashes when they are activated and they don't swivel up/down/left/right when they are turned on.
3. I got a new warning today, dipped beam left fault. So I'll need to figure that out. I have xenon lights so apparently it can be a water issue.

The roof is a big and known problem, i can asure you that in the nearby it won't close at all anymore !
I had the same problem, you can make an adjustment to it, this is the easiest and cheapest way, the back roof doesn't function anymore after that.
A full repair, done with mine, will cost you a lot.
There is info about it on this forum and many others
About the two other problems i don';t have the knowledge about, the problem with the adaptive headlights is new for me, so i will follow you to see what this is and what the sollution is

Tried swapping the bulbs today and the headlight still doesn't work. So now to figure out the root cause..
