Hi sjef. it was a good price indeed. the installation is actually quite simple, it takes a couple of hours to set it up.
just start by removing the headlights:
- take the blinkers out (1 screw)
- then the small lip under the headlights (just pull carefully)
- then you can see the screws under the headlights, unscrew those and the ones on the top of the headlights
- disconnect the wires to the headlights
- take the old headlights out

connect the Xenon:
- place the xenon bulb inside the new headlights (carefully, its fragile)
- connect the Xenon cables to the cables from the car (check the Xenon installation guide)
- fix the ballast in a safe place (check where I placed mine in the 1st post of my thread)

When done put the new headlights on (reverse process I described above) and you're done!

The units should be in quite soon. The lightbulbs may take up to three weeks to arrive.
Did you have to re-adjust the lightbeams?
That's the only thing I dread a bit.

I had to point them in the right direction, yes. But that isn't difficult at all. You have 2 screws in each headlight, one vertical and the other for horizontal adjustment. It's quite simple, don't worry about that..

What a cracking car!... i have also a 2002 318i and i like my dynavin very much best upgrade that i made. Now i am at the maintance mode like control arms, etc. You exhaust i am at love with that what is the brand? and how much did it cost you? very nice car
